Unfortunately, this means that showering and getting ready for the day often takes priority over a good, hearty breakfast. And while you might show up on time, you\u2019re more than likely not showing up at your full capacity. Low energy, brain fog, and lack of efficiency throughout your tasks are a direct result.<\/p>\n<p>A good breakfast fuels you for a productive day, providing your body with the nutrients it needs to function at its best! A good, substantial breakfast (or any meal) in my book will contain 3 things: a protein, healthy fat and fiber.\u00a0 These three components are ideal for keeping you full for longer to get you by until your next meal.\u00a0 Most people with busy mornings, however, tend to skimp out on getting adequate protein \u2013 resorting to a bowl of cereal, muffin, bagel or a fruit to go.\u00a0 Protein is a crucial macronutrient and should not be overlooked at any meal, but especially breakfast.\u00a0 I\u2019ve compiled a list of quick and easy protein-packed breakfast options that will help fill that gap in your morning and allow you to show up at your best!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Prepare Ahead<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PB &amp; Chocolate-Dipped Apple Slices<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This one is for all the people with a morning sweet tooth \u2013 mix a few tablespoons of natural peanut butter (the liquid-y kind works best!) with a scoop of chocolate protein powder for a protein-packed, chocolatey dip. Slice some apples, and you\u2019re good to go!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rachaelsgoodeats.com\/egg-muffins\/\"><strong>Egg \u201cmuffins\u201d<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0or hard-boiled eggs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Protein muffins<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Try\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/recipes\/banana-quinoa-breakfast-cups\/\">these<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambitiouskitchen.com\/flourless-peanut-butter-chickpea-muffins\/\">these<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overnight Oats\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 mix in a scoop of your favorite protein powder for a boost of protein!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chia Seed Pudding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chia Pudding \u2013 Overnight Oats Hybrid<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd cup dried, plain oats<\/li>\n<li>2-3 Tbsp. chia seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 cup liquid\u00a0<em>(Personally, I think oats made with milk tastes better and depending on the milk, you\u2019ll get some added protein!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Sweeteners\u00a0<em>(I prefer a dash of syrup\/honey or mashed banana!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Add-ins &amp; toppings\u00a0<em>(This is personal preference! Think: cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, cacao powder, nuts\/seeds, nut butters, berries, banana, fruit puree, etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Greek Yogurt w\/ Toppings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy a tub of yogurt and separate into mason jars in fridge.<\/li>\n<li>Chop fruit and store in fridge.<\/li>\n<li>In the morning, add nut\/seed-based granola or loose nuts\/seeds on yogurt.
